Welcome, Mud Racers and Mud Racing Fans!
We started mud racing (bogging, actually) in 1996 when our first truck was named Mudzilla and belonged to our brother-in-law, Moose. He wanted to move up into the modified classes, and he put his Pro Stock truck up for sale. One weekend Moose had to work, but there was a race in Paris, Texas. He asked Larry to take his truck and race it. Pretty sneaky, eh? Well, Larry was hooked after that. Moose built his new car and named it Mudzilla II, and we got into mud bogging in the Super Stock and Pro Stock classes with our new Master Blaster mud truck . A lot of the tracks eventually evolved into shallow, fast tracks, and Master Blaster has evolved with that trend.
Did I mention that if you have a mud truck, then you also have to have a trailer and a tow vehicle that will pull a good sized load? We like to refer to our Master Blaster mud truck as our "Bass Boat".
We have so enjoyed this sport, because it is a family-oriented sport, and our two kids enjoyed it while growing up. We've traveled a lot of miles, and to some far away places, to make a pass or two down the track. And we've met a lot of wonderful people who are into this this sport. And a lot of great fans, too!
We hope you'll enjoy our page.
